EAA Chapter 1167

Old Business:

• CAP rocket launch event will take place August 17^th during our normal meeting time. Once the field is identified an email notification will be sent out to all Members.

• Continued planning for the Fall Fly-in:

  • We will prepare and send out post cards

  • Jesse will notify other chapters to spread the word and participate.

  • Flyer is posted to the web site – all should feel free to print and distribute.

  • Dan is coordinating Young Eagles rides during the fly-in.

• Tax exempt status is likely to take a year to process considering the current state of the IRS.

New Business:

• Suzee reminded everyone that the Triple Tree Fly-in is coming up Sept 4^th - 8^th at SC00. http://www.tripletreeaerodrome.com/triple-tree-fly-in.php

Presentation:

• Doug Floyd presented the techniques he used to repair and reinforce degraded ABS plastic panels in his '81 C-172.

Adjourned meeting with a full serving of hanger flying.
